Economic slowing isn’t a synonym for Recession.  We are seeing evidence of the economy slowing but still in a healthy state.  This slowing is a good reminder for us to evaluate the health of the economy often.  The economy is till on solid ground and we are looking forward to these economic conditions to supply enough support for the market to finish the year in positive territory.  These year end returns have been helped by the tech sector and are now being hurt by that same sector.  A diversified portfolio doesn’t always feel like the best place to be but in situations like this where money may move more into other sectors it is nice to have exposure to all.  We will stay connected with you and keep watching things on all of our behalf.  If you have questions please reach out.
