The attached commentary is a filled with language and tone that feels like a warning.  I would place a caveat on this tone.  Although each of the points are true, there is something else that is very true and that is there are very specific times where a loan from your 401k can help you reach your financial goals.  The bottom line is that prior to taking a 401k loan, pick up the phone and talk to someone (me included) and sort out the situation.  It can make great sense for you.  Just be confident that it will be helpful and not damaging.  All my best and reach out to us if we can help advise you.
